Remember when the word 'mankind' was supposed to refer to everyone and women had to imagine themselves into that word? Now the 'woman' is termed as hate-speech because it hurts men's feelings. Well, women never asked for 'womankind' to include everyone. It is imperative to use words appropriately; man=male, woman=female. We cannot afford to lose our words. Women were forced into invisibility in text and public life for millennia; let's never allow that to happen again.
Thank you sister! This is such wonderful feedback to hear. There's a lot of pain we have to work through as women, and we're rarely given space to even reflect.

So powerfully put CJ. Thanks for sharing these words and reminder of the history of woman-hating and woman-erasing.
We (well, you women + male allies) are all For Women Scotland!
Your words really resonated with me — especially the part about seeing the isolation beneath the anger. Thank you for naming it so clearly.

So true — it’s hard to even find space to reflect, let alone heal. I’m grateful for spaces like yours that remind us we’re not alone in it.
